Likha: Gunpla

Ever since coming back to the Philippines with a couple of RG Gunpla kits from Japan, I’ve been hooked on these toys. That was around three weeks ago and at the time of this writing, I have averaged two Gunpla kits a week. I have spent the weekends indoors and have ignored the call of the mountains for consecutive weeks already. Not that I’m complaining, but it’s way different from the usual hobbies you see posted here.

Likha: Sandugo Road to Trail 2019

I was fortunate enough to be given another creative project related to trail running. This time, it was for a big local brand’s race event. Here’s how I designed the Sandugo Road to Trail Challenge 2019.

Likha: Run 2 Me 2018

I recently had the privilege to create the collaterals for a local trail run. I was pretty nervous about the project as I have never designed something that was in line with my hobbies AND with such a big scope. But thankfully, I was able to pull it off and I can say it was a success.

Guhit: Drawings ’14 – ’15

I love to draw, but I haven’t really been drawing a lot recently. This lazy Sunday, I was organizing my files on my computer because I wasn’t able to go out and jog/bike. Browsing through my old drawings made me reminisce the time and effort I put into them. It really made me want to draw again.

I guess I stopped drawing when I got bitten by the fitness bug and started to focus more on my vector designs because it was easier to create on the go. Drawing required lots of sketches and having to hook up my tablet to the computer which sometimes was a hassle.

But enough excuses, my first love has always been free-hand illustration, and I aim to get back to it. I might have developed a bit of rust, but I’ll return to drawing again. In the meantime, here are some of the old drawings I’ve made, ranging from year 2014 to early 2015. Enjoy!
