Project Overview
Another running group whose members I am friends with. Team Matindi is a group that’s quite prominent in both road running and trail running communities. They’re known for always spreading the good vibes and that was the emotion I wanted to evoke from this design.
This went through a couple of iterations before arriving at the final piece. Both the client and I were happy with how it turned out and I love how vibrant the color is. It really gives off a cool feeling plus it’s easy to spot from a distance.

Details
The brief was a light color mixed with some grunge to show the love for the outdoors. The team already had a very distinct and visible logo so it was the thing I wanted to highlight. The rest of the elements in the design are subtle but still add to the overall look.
I enjoyed making the “M logo” out of the names of all the members. It’s a small detail but it gives the shirt a unique feel.
