Probably one of the most productive things I’ve done this quarantine is to upgrade my rig. The one which I’ve been using since 2014 needed an upgrade, and with no end in sight for the quarantine period, gaming has become a big part of my daily activity. As a high-risk individual for COVID19, I’m determined to stay at home as much as I can. Yes, apparently I do still want to live. Rather, I don’t want to die for a stupid reason lmao.
This is my first blog post dedicated to an entire game, but only because I feel that it deserves it. Also, this was supposed to be a video, but my lazy ass can’t be bothered to record a voiceover for my gameplay footage. And finally, I’m not satisfied with my lapel mic’s quality, so here’re some words about the 2015 Mad Max game instead.
Oh my golly! Can you believe that it’s already been 4 months since my last blog post? Look at how time flies! In this “new normal” that is quarantine, time seems to be both going by so quickly and yet, so very slowly. Anyway, I just wanted to let you guys know that this site isn’t dead. I have been more active on other platforms and I’ll be explaining that stuff below. So, let’s get to it!
It’s pretty humbling to be living at the same time as a global historical event. Everyone is affected by this community quarantine differently. It has been more than 3 weeks of staying at home at the time of this writing and I am privileged to still be functioning normally. I have to render work from home, but that means a steady pacycheck in this crisis, for which I am thankful for. It’s been a slow adjustment process, and I miss the daily movement of my once-active lifestyle. In the meantime, I have been coping by just consuming a lot of content. Here are a few things that have kept me sane in recent days:
Awwwww yiss! I just got my hands on the latest update to my favorite road running shoe EVER!! Will it improve on its predecessor or will it suck? Who knows?! Well, I do because I’ve been using it on my runs. Read on to find the verdict.
It’s the second month of 2020 and thankfully, I’m still continuing the habit of reading e-books and manga. I was able to finish a fewer number of books this month, but I really enjoyed most of the entries here as they are related to my running hobby. It’s always easier to read something if it’s related to a topic you like.
