Project Overview
This project was commissioned by Sandugo Philippines for the first entry into their trail running series. Again, I was in charge of designing most of the race paraphernalia.
My goal for this project was to make a dynamic orange shirt. I had far too many pink and blue designs so I wanted to push my boundaries in that direction. I was given directives by the client and together we hashed out the design into what was produced. I blog more about this project in detail here.
Details
Thankfully, I was given a lot of creative freedom and this resulted into a vibrant, orange design that was eye-catching. You may argue that white isn’t usually the best color for trail running, but I love seeing the changes it undergoes on the way to the finish line.
My favorite part of the design process was making the logo. I wanted it to look more modern while still keeping some elements of the original logo. The road transitioning into the trail and up the mountains is exactly what the event was all about. It always feels good to see people wearing my designs and I’m always thankful for the opportunity.
