Project Overview
This project was another collaboration, this time with Pinoy Trails to create the race design from Logo to Promotion materials.
This is a birthday trail run by one of the elites in the trail running community, Sir Lao Ogerio. He is a beloved member and supporter of local trail running and he holds this event every year. For 2018 I was blessed to be chosen as the event designer. I blog more about this project in detail here.
Details
Because Sir Lao Ogerio is a patriot, I had to include the signature three stars and a sun for the design. Aside from that, the usual ethnic patterns were used. This has become a sort of signature of mine. The logo shield adorns the front while the label “Wawathlete” is at the back, a tribute to our playground, Wawa, Rizal.
The color yellow was chosen and complements the black & white as the race’s signature colors. It’s the perfect design for a shirt that wants to be recognizable from afar and very visible out on the trails.
