Musings of a human trapped in the Philippines
#BoysWhoATBP is just a dump for those random activities that don’t deserve their own category yet. Maybe I’m just trying something new.
I have always tried to live my life with no regrets; and up to this point, I’ve never had regrets that keep me up all night or haunt me in my nightmares and daydreams. However, there are some things that I would have done differently, given the chance. Nothing completely life-changing, but maybe just enough to set me on the right path earlier. So here goes a letter to Past-Me, after all Present-Me has experienced until today.
Naalala ko na naman nung akala ko hindi ako pumasa ng ACET dahil hindi ko mahanap pangalan ko online. Hindi ko rin naman madouble-check sa Blue Eagle Gym kasi nasa Visayas pa ako nun. Di ko matanggap yun kasi alam kong matalino ako.
Turns out mali lang spelling ng pangalan ko sa database. I felt so vindicated when I got the acceptance letter. Matalino nga ako. That, or meron akong inagawan na slot na si JAIRUS RAFAEL yung pangalan.
Pero feeling ko matalino lang talaga ako. Hehe.
To those who passed ACET, congrats! Don’t let it get to your head. You’ve got your work cut out for you. Staying in Ateneo is a greater feat than getting in. You just got accepted to a place where your potentials will be pushed to actuality. Don’t waste the opportunity.
To those who didn’t pass, don’t be discouraged. Either God has a different plan for you, or kulang ka lang sa pag-aaral. Charot. It doesn’t make you less of a person. The most legendary of Ateneans have failed at more than one point in their lives. The trick is to keep getting back up. Push niyo yan.
Miss ko na mag-aral. Well, the extra-curricular activities mostly.

I’ve had lots of ideas back in 2013 that were put aside because of [insert bullshit excuse here]. Now that 2014 is almost over, I realized that those ideas were still left untouched.
I’m sure there have been moments in your life, dear reader, where you stumble upon a quote and you respond like it’s the holy grail of quotes. Your reaction might have been something like “Holy shit, I’m going to remember this quote forever!” Well for not much reason, I’d like to share to you the time this happened to me.
Greetings. Well, what should you expect from my little corner of the net?
Recently I’ve been into fitness, so I guess there will be posts about that. There’s no harm in maintaining a healthy body to complement a healthy mind.
Aside from that, design and illustration work will also be seen here. I’m a graphic artist by trade and I’m always looking for new stuff to delve into. I also do freelance and commission work on the side so shoot me an email if you wanna create things with me.
One of my hobbies is food. Yes, just food. I’m into food. Eating is good and eating is fun. When food calls, my stomach hears. I’m mostly fond of carnivorous cuisine, although trying to stay fit also makes me eat plants every once in a while.
Well, that’ll be mostly it, although I might mention a few words about technology, pop culture, music, and the like every now and then. I haven’t blogged in a while (4 years) so forgive me if I’m a bit rusty. I’m still swimming through the dictionary so my words may not always be so cohesive.
