Akyat: Mt. Damas and Ubod Falls dayhike

Sunday
November 18, 2018

Since I have no more races for the rest of the year, I decided to go back to my roots; hiking. It’s been a while since I hiked a new mountain. The last one was Mt. Halcon (Sialdang) back in holy week. So for this weekend, while Khat was training in Kibungan, I searched for an organized hike in the FB group CLIMBER. I finally decided on the semi-major hike in Tarlac, Mt. Damas.

Pagsusuri: Mi Sports Bluetooth Earphones

On my daily commutes, music is one of those perks that make it more bearable. Since the beginning, I’ve been using wired earphones because I’ve found that Bluetooth ones have been very expensive. They rarely go below Php3,000 and the ones that do are usually from questionable Chinese brands with virtually no reviews. That was until I heard about the Mi Sport Bluetooth earphones. So I quickly got a pair and this is my quick unboxing and review.

Takbo: Sandugo Pacific Coast Ultra 100 2018

Friday to Sunday
October 5-7, 2018

I’ve been putting off writing this post because I’ll probably ramble on too much if given the chance. But this was just too good of an event to not put into writing. Plus I have already compiled all my pictures for the event, it would be such a waste for me to not post them here.

So without further ado, here is my account of the race, with lots of words and even more pictures.

Likha: Run 2 Me 2018

I recently had the privilege to create the collaterals for a local trail run. I was pretty nervous about the project as I have never designed something that was in line with my hobbies AND with such a big scope. But thankfully, I was able to pull it off and I can say it was a success.

Akyat: Climb Central Manila’s Cirque du Climb

Last Saturday, August 25, was the anniversary of Climb Central Manila. To celebrate, they set up an event called Cirque du Climb, a festival-like celebration where climbers can claim varous prizes based on their climbing abilities. I was blessed with time to attend the event with my brother and here was our experience.

Pagsusuri: Salomon Sense Mantra 3 after 500+ km

Hello everyone, I haven’t been blogging for over a month now because… well, life got in the way. And there hasn’t really been much to write about. I’ve been running on the roads again, as it’s much easier to do with all these storms assaulting the country. I’m trying to love running as much as before, and juggling it with gym hasn’t been easy, but at least I have a lot of options to stay fit.

Anyway, just to have something up, this is going to be an appreciation post to my favorite running shoe: the Salomon Sense Mantra 3. It’s already phased out of stores and it came out around 2 years ago, but I’m going to review it anyway because I believe it’s the best shoe that Salomon has released (for my foot). Read on to see why!
