The search for more mountains to conquer is still ongoing and our target for the week is the very famous, Mt. Maculot! I’ve already heard of it a lot of times from my friends and finally, a chance to climb it has sprung forth. Leggo!

There are a couple of reasons why I haven’t gone on a long bike ride recently. (1), my weekends have been used up by all my other hobbies and interests, and (2), ever since my birthday ride, my rear brake has been completely used up so I only rely on my front brake to stop me from colliding with things.
Then, a friend invited me for a ride to Wawa dam, and since I had nothing better to do that day, I complied. I just decided to pedal extra carefully. So here’s my Wawa dam experience.

If it’s not obvious yet, I like escaping from the hustle and bustle of city life. I was pretty bummed seeing all my Facebook friends post beach pictures and so I vowed to get myself to the beach ASAP!

As if climbing Mt. Batulao earlier in the month wasn’t enough, I joined the Outdoor Addicts again on another climb! If you may or may not recall, the Outdoor Addicts were the group I climbed Pico de Loro with. So after missing out on a lot of their scheduled climbs, I finally got the time to climb with them again. Here’s my Mt. Daraitan climb experience. (Y’all know it, pictures ahead)

I opened up the year with some bike riding during the weekends. For January 3 and 10, I went to two different parts of Bulacan, which is roughly very far from my place. And while both of the places we went to were in the same province, the rides for each were very different!
It’s a slow Saturday at the office so…
I don’t claim to know everything or even a lot about this issue, but I’ve come to believe that most problems that Philippines is facing is caused by the Filipinos’ attitude of always looking at the short term instead of the long term. So prepare for a slightly long article about why we r who we r.
