Gala: The family goes to the Shrine of Valor

Saturday
August 8, 2015

The last time my family traveled together was during ourĀ Cebu trip last June. Looking back, it’s been two months since, but finally we had an available weekend to spare and we got our butts into our cute family car and headed to Mt. Samat in Bataan!

Akyat: Hike Essentials

HikeEssentials-01

I’ve already posted about the Bike Essentials that everyone should check out when they’re about to start biking. Now that I’ve had a few mountains under my belt, I’ve decided to make a little infographic about hiking! Because I’ve only ever done dayhikes, the items listed are those I’ve had some experience with. For overnight hikes, I might make separate post for that once I’ve actually done one. Akyat: Mt. Talamitam

Sunday
June 14, 2015

As if I didn’t get enough of my Mt. Manabu climb the day before, I spontaneously planned another climb with a friend. This time, it would be on Mt. Manabu a.k.a Free Coffee Mountain!

Sunday – Tuesday
May 31, 2015 to June 2, 2015

I have officially completed the primary objective of my life. When I was a kid, I visited a museum that had a whale shark installation. Since that day, I’ve always been fascinated by the world’s biggest fish. So when I found out that it was possible to swim alongside these giants, I immediately placed it on my bucket list.

Well, that item has been finally checked off.

Akyat: Mt. Maculot

Saturday
May 9, 2015

The search for more mountains to conquer is still ongoing and our target for the week is the very famous, Mt. Maculot! I’ve already heard of it a lot of times from my friends and finally, a chance to climb it has sprung forth. Leggo!
